GOVERNANCE, TRUSTEESHIP & COLLABORATIONS

Public service.
Wider horizons.

My work extends beyond any one institution: across charity governance, independent scrutiny, commissioned research, and conversations with public servants internationally.

I bring the same questions to each setting. Who is being heard? How do decisions translate into people’s lives? And how can an organisation put its purpose into practice?

Responsibility.
Beyond the day job.

Strategy.
With people in view.

Nearly a decade in the Civil Service across more than eight government departments, latterly at the Ministry of Justice and HMPPS as Head of People Policy and Divisional Director for HR.

My consultancy spans organisational and HR strategy, policy reviews and development, and the cultural dimensions of equality, diversity, and inclusion. Qualitative research and evidence reviews help organisations understand the experience behind their processes and make informed decisions.

I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), with a CIPD Level 7 qualification, and was nominated for the Cabinet Secretary’s Outstanding Leader Award in 2023 and 2025.
